Dear Umatilla County Cultural Leader,
The Umatilla County Cultural Coalition is pleased to
announce the 2009-2010 Oregon Cultural Trust
Participation Grant Program. Funding for this program is
provided by the Oregon Cultural Trust, Oregon’s
innovative public-private partnership that supports the
State’s arts, heritage and humanities. Grants will be used
in support of local projects which further Umatilla County’s
Cultural Plan. You may view the full Cultural Plan online at
www.umatillacountyculture.org.
Last year’s local grant cycle (2008-09) supported 11
projects from around the county, including funding for
artwork, signage, and framing; youth programming;
purchase of music folders and uniforms; a school field trip,
art show, and artist in residence.
Available funding for this grant cycle will be determined by
the Oregon Cultural Trust late this summer. Grant
application information and guidelines are enclosed.
Applications must be received before 5pm on September
25, 2009. Projects should be planned and ready to
execute. Successful applicants will be notified by
November 2009. Grant funding must be expended by June
15, 2010 and a final report submitted by June 30, 2010.
